My fee is $250 per 50-minute individual session & $300 per couple/family session.

Consultations are an excellent teaser trailer for how we could work together in therapy. A consult is a low-pressure 30-minute conversation that allows us to see if we’re a good fit for each other. Your choice is important to me and honored from the moment you reach out.

BOOK A CONSULT

I support you doing this work in a way that fits your budget and supports you in the way you need. If I am unable to be that therapist for you, I am happy to provide you a list of referrals that work within your financial boundaries.

  • Finding the right therapist for you can make all the difference. That’s why I offer free 30 minute consultations to see if we could be a good fit! During our consult, you let me know why you are seeking out therapy.

    Let's consult.

  • Therapy can feel scary, exciting, fun, sad, griefy, uplifting, tiring, and energizing—all at once.

With therapy, there are risks and benefits. Facing life's hard parts can cause strong feelings and reveal unhelpful ways you deal with stress. The benefits of looking at the uncomfortable truths? You get to reflect on those emotions, own what you need to own, and set the rules of engagement in your own life!

  • I accept most major credit cards at the time of the appointment. I do not bill insurance, however, I provide you with a superbill at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company. Before booking an appointment, I suggest calling the number on the back of your insurance card inquiring about your "out of network" therapy benefits and learning about how to submit an out-of-network reimbursement claim. Some clients also use their FSA or HSA accounts.

Lastly, some work places offer mental health benefits or wellness funds that can be used towards mental health services. If you feel comfortable, review your company policy to see if those funds are available to you.

  • Currently, my sliding scale slots are full.

I have a waitlist for those who would like to continue working with me, and can wait to be seen at the sliding scale fee.

  • Different cases call for different levels of support. When we meet, we discuss if extended sessions are appropriate or if increasing or reducing frequency is needed.

  • Yes! I am licensed to provide therapy in Washington, California, and Oregon. You must live in one of these states to work with me.

    1. Does my policy include mental health benefits?

    2. Does my policy cover out-of-network therapists? If I see a practitioner/therapist who is not part of your network, do you provide any coverage? Are there any additional out-of-pocket costs?

    3. If yes, does my policy cover Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs)?

    4. If yes, how much will my policy pay for a 60 minute and 75 minute psychotherapy sessions (procedure code 90837-95)?

    5. How much psychotherapy is covered per year? Are there any dollar or

      calendar limits to my coverage?

    6. Is my mental health deductible part of, or separate from, my medical deductible?

    7. What is my yearly mental health and/or medical deductible?

    8. How much of my deductible have I met this year?

    9. Can I pay my therapist out-of-pocket and submit a Superbill for reimbursement?

      • If yes, to whom should I mail or fax the Superbill?

      • Once I mail in a Superbill, how long before I receive a reimbursement?

    10. Do you require pre-approval or pre-certification of sessions?

    11. If yes, who must obtain the pre-approval or pre-certification? Myself? My therapist? Either?

    12. Can this be done over the phone? If not, what is the procedure?

    13. How many sessions will likely be pre-approved at a time?

    14. Who should be contacted to authorize the pre-approval?

    15. Is there anything else I should know?
